How to work well on a terrace in Hossegor

Three useful rules on the Atlantic coast:

  • The ocean wind can be treacherous in the afternoon. From 2pm on summer days, have something to weigh down your papers and a light windbreaker for sessions near the lake or beach.
  • Terraces fill up fast in July and August. Aim for mornings (before 11am) or the 2pm to 4pm slot to get a spot and work in peace.
  • Shade is scarce. In the Pédebert area many terraces face full south with no cover. Go for La Worquerie's covered terrace or Villa Seren if you want shade and need to work for several hours without getting burnt.
