Who forFor a big free library right in the centre: 170 seats over three floors in the adult section, plus a closed room with 12 seats on the 3rd floor.
When to goTuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, 10am to 7pm. Closed Monday and Thursday. Facade works run until 2027, but the library stays open.
The catchWifi is for members who have signed the internet charter: €14 a year for Chartres residents, €28 otherwise (2026 prices). And speed drops when lots of people are connected.
