Créteil is the prefecture of Val-de-Marne, with its lake, its university, its Créteil Soleil shopping centre, and a transport network that gets you to Paris by metro line 8. The city is a little underestimated: between the lakeside, the quiet residential neighbourhoods, and the economic activity around the prefecture, there's real potential for remote workers. Freelancers from the 94, salaried employees working remotely who live in the area, UPEC students looking for a quiet place — Créteil has options worth knowing about.
We've covered the city to find the best spots. Here's our selection.
Openspot 94 - Les Digiteurs
Place Salvador Allende, in a fully renovated space. Openspot 94, run by the CCI Paris Ile-de-France, is the most complete coworking space in Créteil. Individual desks, meeting rooms, Wi-Fi, power outlets, large tables, and affordable rates. The space is designed for project founders and small businesses, with support that goes beyond just a workstation. The atmosphere is professional and stimulating.
Recommended by the city of Villiers-sur-Marne, Workin Space, Coworking France, and Neo-Nomade. Open Monday to Friday, 9am to 7pm. Closed at weekends.

OIKOS
Rue du Général Leclerc, in the CRETEIL 113 community space. OIKOS is an eco-responsible and community-minded coworking space that's part of the CRETEIL 113 project. The space offers shared and private desks, with Wi-Fi, power outlets, large tables, and a kitchen for long days. Rates are affordable, and the community is dynamic — freelancers, remote workers, and entrepreneurs cross paths in a welcoming atmosphere. The eco-responsible angle translates into concrete practices in how the space is managed.

Coz Eat
Avenue du Maréchal Foch. Coz Eat is a cosy café with a dedicated work area — a concept that works well. The Wi-Fi is fast, a printer is available, and hourly rates are affordable. Large tables, power outlets, and an atmosphere that blends café and coworking naturally. The menu has plenty to eat.
Opening hours are oriented around lunch on weekdays (11:45am–2pm, then 7pm–10:30pm Tuesday to Friday). It's more of a spot for a lunch break or evening session than a full-day workspace. But for a work session over the lunch slot, it's a great option.

Indiana Café - Créteil Soleil
Créteil Soleil Shopping Centre. Indiana Café offers a calm setting with comfortable tables and soft lighting. The atmosphere is relaxed, the large tables make it easy to spread out, and the menu is comprehensive enough to keep you going all day. It's a good spot for laid-back work sessions.
The opening hours are a major plus: open 7 days a week, from 11am to 10:30pm on weekdays (11pm at weekends). It's one of the rare places in Créteil where you can work on a Sunday evening.
